Feedback Ratings - FAQ

What are feedback ratings?
A public comment by a buyer or seller regarding a transaction. The feedback is a comment about how the other party represented themselves during the buying and seller of the item. The rating is a percentage.

Who can view feedback ratings?
Anyone. Just enter a name in the search entry box at the bottom of this page.

Who can post a Feedback Rating?
Anyone who has had a transaction and wishes to publicly post a satisfaction level.

Does it matter where the transaction took place?
No. Any valid and legal transaction that took place on a reputable site is acceptable to post.

How can I make my feedback informative?
In your feedback comment, try to include things such as: time it took to complete the transaction, was the condition of the item as promised, was it easy to arrange shippment, etc.

How many feedbacks may I post?
There is no limit as to how many feedbacks you can post, however, you can only post one feedback rating per individual from any given site.

What do the rating numbers mean?
(Excellent: 90-100) (Very Good: 80-90) (Good: 70-80) (Fine: 60-70) (Acceptable: 50-60) (Not Good: 40-50) (Bad: 30-40) (Very Bad: 20-30) (Disaster: 10-20) (Failure: 0-10)

Is the feedback rating averaged with any other rating system?
No. The ratings are only a BidFind rating and are compiled from the feedback that has been left by members.

Can I edit my feedback?
Yes. Search for the individual with the search entry box at the bottom of this page. Once you find the individual, click on "post" to edit the feedback that you originally posted.

How do I link to my ratings page?
Go to the "Adding Links" page and take a look at the example.
You can either place a graphic link or a text link back to your feedback rating. BidFind Feedback

Please note that by posting a feedback, you are declaring your satisfaction level of a transaction with another individual. If your experience was good, then post a positive feedback. But, if you are posting a disapproving feedback, please be certain not to slander anyone; you could put yourself in a legal situation. There is a difference between being "critical" and being "insulting."
