Support UNFPA

Even a small donation can help improve or even save the lives of women, men and children around the world. UNFPA ensures safe motherhood, prevents HIV/AIDS, reduces violence and discrimination against women, and helps families stay healthy and pull themselves out of poverty by planning the number of children they have.

Make a donation through one of the methods listed to the left. Or to learn more about what we do, click on one of the following links to read about some of UNFPA’s activities.

In Bolivia, UNFPA is working to raise the status of women, particularly the indigenous. When women are educated and empowered, poverty is reduced, fewer mothers die as a result of pregnancy-related complications, and children receive better education and health care.
In 2000, Cambodia launched its first census in 36 years, with UNFPA support, to help plan for the future needs of its population. UNFPA-sponsored safe motherhood initiatives have also helped Cambodia to reduce its maternal mortality rate.
Niger is one of the poorest countries in the world. One in every four children dies before his or her fifth birthday. UNFPA supports safe motherhood initiatives, family planning, and education programmes to reduce child mortality in Niger.
For the Palestinian people, the difficulty of traveling through checkpoints has left thousands of pregnant women without access to live-saving medical care. UNFPA is providing emergency assistance to protect the lives of Palestinian mothers and newborns.
