DTaP/IPV/Hib, the new five-in-one
vaccination for babies has been introduced
in the UK in 2004. While the vaccine is
"new" to the UK it is not a new
vaccine. The vaccine has already been used
in routine childhood vaccination programmes
in Canada since 1997. The vaccine will give
young children immunity against diphtheria,
tetanus, pertussis, Hib and polio infections.
