STEEL FOR TEETH
The ”Steel-for-Teeth”Range ”Steel-for-Teeth” consists of pre-rigged steel leaders in combination with hooks, swivels and snaps. Within the two main categories of the assortment, Mustad offers 7 steel leaders with a coating and 49 without. The leaders are available with prerigged single, double or treble hooks, with a choice of a loop at the end. The steel wire is also available for those who would like to make their own rigs. RED ALERT – Mustad Launches "Dangerous" New Hook!
O. Mustad & Søn A.S launches the Red Baitholder Ultra Point Hook, ref. 92668NPNR. Ultra Point represents the highest quality in fish hooks, and this technology offers a combination of optimal sharpness and strength. (Click here to read more about the Ultra Point technology). The bright red colour entices the fish to attack and has given the name to the hook. It is made from high-carbon steel for optimal strength.

Ayaka Allround has passed both the diameter and breaking strength test by EFTTA - Confirming high quality!
The testing standard that EFTTA uses is the internationally recognised ISO 2062 standard (also known as DIN EN ISO 2062). Dry specimens of line is cut from spools and each diameter is subject to ten tests with breaking strength recorded for each sample. The testing procedure is carried out in a strictly controlled laboratory environment and adheres strictly to the ISO 2062 standard for dry testing.
