First Friday is held, perhaps not surprisingly, on the first Friday of each month in the city's growing downtown arts district (centered around Charleston and Main Streets). The event is a showcase for local artists, featuring visual and performing arts, as well as a wide variety of shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars.
The City of Las Vegas provides shuttle busses that make rounds throughout the Arts District, making pick-ups every 15 minutes throughout the evening. Enjoy a diverse crowd, live music, street performances, and much more.
Since it began in Oct. of 2002, First Friday has continued to grow in scope and popularity. The event on Oct. 1 marked the two-year anniversary of First Friday.
