Tops4Tennis was created for one purpose: to bring you, the tennis player or fan, objective information about products and services that can make your game easier or more enjoyable.

Our "extras" include special features such our online version of Bill Tilden's classic, The Art of Lawn Tennis, and articles on tennis-related topics.
Tops4Tennis is a part of the Tops4 Productions family. Tops4 Productions began in 2004 with the goal of publishing quality informational web sites on different subjects.
Our approach is simple: More information, less flash. We have nothing against those web sites that dazzle you with their looks. But here we'll always be more interested in providing straightforward advice, education and entertainment through the written word.
The owner of Tops4 Productions, and the primary author of this web site, is Steve Smith. Steve currently lives near Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in the United States.
