Snow in Corsica & Croatia [30.Jan.2005]
Corsica had quite large snow falls for the mid Mediterranean Sea island.  The Croatian island of Hvar in the Adriatic saw snow falls and the local promise of free accommodation at the islands hotels was put in effect. The island that promises year round sun has a policy where if it snows on Hvar, guests stay free.  
Snow again in Nice [30.Jan.2005]
Extreme weather across southern Europe. Snow again fell in Nice city on Friday. The unusual event again was followed by a bright sunny day- with holiday makes lunching on the beach.

NEW ZEALAND TOUR OPERATOR OFFERS “REBUILDING” VACATION [25.Jan.2005]
Auckland: A New Zealand tour operator based in Auckland is offering a unique vacation targeted at tourists who wish to make a difference and want to help rebuild a Sri Lankan fishing village post tsunami destruction. The itinerary includes 5 days sightseeing and a minimum of 4 days of reconstruction  for people with trade skills (carpenters, mechanics etc).
ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER’S “BOMBAY DREAMS” DESTINED FOR BOMBAY [25.Jan.2005]

Bombay: Webber’s “Bombay Dreams”, all about Bollywood kitsch, will be staged in Bombay this year before it travels to China and Hong Kong. The Asian Tour is expected to have a new cast to be chosen in India. A R Rahman scored the music for the play which ran successfully in London’s West End and New York’s Broadway, receiving nominations for 3 Tony awards.
