	Applying online or over the phone couldn't be easier. Check below that you've got everything you need. If for any reason you can't complete your application, don't worry, just select "Save and Log Out" and give us a call. Security is our priority - we make sure you're protected. To prevent other people from accessing your details while you are away from your computer, if you pause during your application for more than 5 minutes, we will ask you if you want to continue with your application. CREDIT SCORING
We may use the information you provide to assess the suitability of your application using a technique known as 'Credit Scoring'. We may monitor and record telephone calls to help give a high level of service.

Members of the HBOS group of companies may use it to inform you by letter, telephone, e-mail, or otherwise, about any products and services offered by the group and selected third parties, unless you have asked us not to do so. It is important to read the small print and refer to the Data Protection page on our website or our leaflet 'Data Protection - Your Personal Information and How We Use It'. By applying online or signing a declaration, you agree that we can use your information in the ways described.

So that we can deal with your application, you have to make the following declaration:

I authorise Intelligent Finance to make any enquires of any third parties for reference purposes or for confirmation of employment details and for the third party to disclose any information to Intelligent Finance.

I declare that for a joint application I have authority to provide information about the other applicant, and anyone else referred to by me, and to authorise you to search, link and/or record information with credit reference agencies about us. 

I agree that Intelligent Finance may instruct credit reference agencies to supply them with information for use in the assessment of credit products. You may also request other information as well as information from the Electoral Register for the purpose of verifying my identity.  I understand that you will record details of this application at credit reference agencies, whether or not this application proceeds.  Details of how the Intelligent Finance jars within the plan are conducted may also be disclosed to these agencies. If I borrow and do not repay in full and on time, Intelligent Finance may tell credit reference agencies who will record the outstanding debt. 

I understand that information held about me by the credit reference agencies may already be linked to records relating to another person(s) and my application may be assessed with reference to any such "associated" records only where a financial association exists.  By applying in joint names I will create a financial association with the other applicant. If either of us applies for access to information held at credit reference agencies, the applicant will receive only information relating to themselves and the name(s) of any associate(s).

I agree to notify Intelligent Finance of any change in circumstances relating to my purchase or mortgage before it is entered into.

Like other Financial organisations, we're legally obliged to collect, verify and record information confirming customer name, address and, in certain circumstances, income.  Please be aware all documentation is required to allow the progression of any application.  These should be original documents and not copies.  On receipt of your application a welcome pack will be sent to you.  Please include your initial deposit cheque when returning this pack.  The cheques should have 'ICD' clearly written on the back of each cheque.  Please refer to 'Your Documents' section to ensure you send us the correct information to allow us to process your application without  delay.

SALARIES PAID IN CASH
Intelligent Finance's credit risk policy requires all our customers to have their salary paid directly into a bank or building society account. Under our business rules we are unable to offer you a product if your salary is paid to you in cash.
