PRe2P – The
soul of two-channel music.
The PRe2 provides the highest level of fidelity
and musicality in a versatile, powerful platform. You can approach
it as a superb and powerful line stage in its PRe2 incarnation
or a sonically superior, versatile phono preamplifier as the PRe2P
that includes a superb line stage.
The PRe2 or PRe2P are keys to sophisticated,
high performance audio systems. Mated with a Bel Canto eVo 4, or
a pair of eVo2’s,
you will experience the most involving and compelling music reproduction
available.
 The PRe2 builds on the performance of the
PRe6 in a 2-channel only platform using the same power supply architecture,
separate analog
and digital control supplies, 2-stage regulation for the analog
stages and a new ultra-low noise power regulation stage for the
final analog power supplies. This gives performance levels previously
possible only using expensive and maintenance intensive lead
acid battery supplies.
For the PRe2 we started with the proven architecture
of the PRe6, we upgraded parts and used tighter layout to provide
peak performance
for dedicated 2-channel music systems.
The PRe2P represents enhanced usability and
performance enhancement of our PHONO1 stand-alone preamplifier.
Its unique remote or
front panel menu driven user adjustments provide quick, practical
and
easy loading and gain optimization for most available Moving
Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges.
The result of these enhancements leads to
improvements in inner detail, dynamic nuance and the ability to
hear into
the musical
performance. All of the subtleties that the musician intended
to convey in the performance are allowed to come through
with new
clarity. Many recordings take on a new life and depth of

0.5dB steps.
- Dual RCA and Balanced main outputs for easy
multi-amplification or sub-woofer connection.

5-pr RCA inputs and a buffered tape loop.
PRe2P PRe2 with MM/MC Preamplifier
- High performance MM/MC phono preamplifier
with the PRe2 line stage.
- Menu controlled adjustment for phone stage
gain (40 or 60dB) and Resistive and Capacitive Loading.
- Menu setting for Mono operation.
- Ultra-low noise amplifier stage for use
with cartridges to 0.25mV out.
- Precision RIAA: +/-0.2dB 20Hz-20KHz.
- Signal to Noise of over 80dB re: 5mV at
40 dB gain setting.
- Maximum gain at 1KHz of 76dB (60dB phono
stage and 16dB line stage).
