Ober Gatlinburg is open all year. It has a variety of slopes--from beginner to advanced. Skiing weather in Gatlinburg is sporatic so listen to weather and call before you come. The tram is the best way to get to Ober Gatlinburg which is located high on Mount Harrison which overlooks Gatlinburg. Parking is very limited at the top and a parking fee is charged. Be very careful coming back down the mountain as it is very steep and brakes can overheat. There are a wide variety of other things to do at Ober Gatlinburg such as ice skating, go-karts, Alpine Slide, bungee jumping, arcade, crafts, and a restaurant and lounge.
