Coco Plum Cay and Resort is the newest addition to our growing list
of exceptional adventure travel facilities, all of which are based from
the Jaguar Reef Lodge, one of Belize's original and premier resort
facilities.
Coco Plum Island Resort sets a new standard
of service and comfort for island based facilities!
Excellent service and exceptional adventure experiences have been our
trademark at the Jaguar Reef Lodge for over 10 years and it is this
service and commitment to quality which we bring to this wonderful new
location, Coco Plum Cay.
Guests of Coco Plum will have easy access to and from the
cay by way of the shuttle service, which is provided on a regular basis
between the cay and the Jaguar Reef Lodge, which is located on the mainland.
Coco Plum Resort guests have full access to Jaguar Reef Lodge's considerable
facilities, which include a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, games room,
exercise room as well as our Iguana day Lodge on the nearby Sittee River.
Guests are provided free use of our kayaks and bikes, both of which are a
great way to see the local area! Feel free to sign up for any of the inland
tours that we offer to the local rivers, rainforest, ruins and caves, etc.
The cay has a fascinating history as it was used as a base
for English pirates whom plundered Spanish galleons that sailed just
beyond the barrier reef. Evidence of their existence is found in the many
glass bottles which are found on the cay, some dating back to the 1500's.
