If time permits, rent a car in Vancouver and drive to Jasper Alberta.
From Jasper, drive south through the heart of the Rocky Mountains to
Banff, Alberta. From Banff, return to Vancouver via Kelowna.
This round-trip adventure offers some of the most beautiful scenery in
the world. You can expect to see many animals on your trip
including elk, moose, mountain goat, bear, marmot and a host of other
Canadian animals, particularly if you travel outside the peak season.
If time does not permit the round trip, consider departing from
Calgary, which is located about one and a half hours from Banff.
