| How do I verify my alternate email address? |
To verify your alternate email address, please follow the steps below:
- Go to any of Yahoo!'s personalized services (such as Yahoo! Mail, My Yahoo!, etc.) and sign in to your account.
- Click on the Account Info or My Account link at the top of the page.
- Re-enter your password for verification.
- Click on the "Edit" button next to your "Member Information."
- If you need to change or add an alternate email address, you can do so on this page. After you are done, click the "Finished" button, which will bring you back to your Account Information page. Then click on the "Edit" button next to your "Member Information" again.
- If your alternate email address is already verified, it will say so. Otherwise, click on the "Click here to verify" link.
- Click on the "Verify Your Email Now" button. This will generate a verification email which you will receive at your alternate email address.
- Once you have received the verification email, follow the instructions contained within the email to verify your alternate email address.
