Media Centre

The Met Office Press Office is staffed by trained meteorologists and is available 24-hours per day. Journalists and researchers can obtain information about the weather and the effect of weather on people and business.

Our Education Service answers enquiries from primary and secondary pupils and teachers. We provide basic general weather information to help educate the public on matters relating to meteorology. This service is funded by the Department for Education and Skills.
