Florida Online Traffic School - How it Works

If you're like most people you don't get a speeding ticket very often so the concept of traffic school may seem foreign to you. This article will walk you through how online traffic school course works in easy steps.

The system is designed to be very easy and takes you through online traffic school step-by-step. We have students from 15 to 88 years old that have completed traffic school on our system.

If you need to know about how to inform the county clerk that you are taking traffic school read our How to Do Traffic School Guide. Between these two guides all your questions should be answered. If not, email us and we will promptly answer your questions.


Step 1. Register for Online Traffic School

Go to the Florida Traffic School page and select the "Sign Up Now for Internet course" link
You will enter the following information:

  • Name, Address, Phone
  • Traffic Ticket Number or Case Number
  • The County where you recieved your ticket
  • Your drivers license number

If you do not know your traffic ticket number you can still register and start the course - just enter "Need Number". Then call the clerk of court in the county where you received your traffic ticket to get you ticket number. Then email us your ticket number before you complete the course so we can update your information.


Step 2. Answer Ten (10) Security Questions

Your answers are used to verify it is you when you login to the traffic school course. Examples of questions are "Is red your favorite color" or "Are you afraid of hieights"


Step 3. Create a Username and Password

Your username and password can be anything you like as long as they are four (4) characters or longer. Your username must be unique - not used by any other student of our traffic school.


Step 4. Pay for Your Course

We accept all major credit and debit cards and our prices are the lowest and we offer excellent service. Our site is secure and we do not store credit card numbers.


Step 5. Login to your Traffic School Course.

Go to www.123driving.com

In the Student Login Box:
Enter your username
Enter your password
Click the "Login" button


Step 6. Start your Traffic School Course

Note: After you login, you can confirm or update your contact information by clicking on the "Change Mailing Address" button.

Our system will walk you through the course by displaying "Click to start"

Read Seven (7) chapters
At the end of some chapters you will complete a simple quiz - by simple we mean that as you select an answer the system will automatically tell you if you are correct or not and allow you to change your answer if necessary. The quizzes are not designed to test your ability to memorize traffic laws; rather, they are designed to make sure you are retaining the important information.


Step 7. Finish your Traffic School Course

At the end of your course you will complete a 40 question test. You can take the test as many times as necessary at no extra charge. Note: Most users pass the first time - it is not difficult.


Step 8. Receive Your Traffic School Certificate

When you complete your traffic school course we will automatically mail your certificate via regular mail within one business day from our office in Orlando.

Expedite Your Certificate
When you complete your traffic school course you will be offered several expedite options including email delivery and options for UPS delivery. You should determine your deadline for submitting your certificate to the county clerk and decide if you need to expedite your certificate.


Step 9. Submit your Traffic School Certificate to the County Clerk

It is your responsibility to submit your certificate to the county clerk in the county where you received your ticket. Be sure to submit it before your deadline.
