The Republic of Kiribati sits astride the equator and the Central Pacific Ocean. Its people are one with the sea and their culture is both diverse and beautiful. The dance is central to so much of Kiribati life. The Kiribati dance is uniquely I-Kiribati - it is exciting, vibrant and intense; it absorbs the performers and the audience completely.
