Casa Romero |
After 32 years, my customers still tell me what a delightful discovery it is to step out of a Boston alley and into the heart of Mexico. That is exactly what I had envisioned when I decorated the coffered door and walls of my restaurant with the bright Talavera tiles from Puebla, Mexico. Casa Romero is located in the midst of glamorous Back Bay at 30 Gloucester Street (side entrance on the alley) between Newbury Street and Commonwealth Avenue. We are open for dinner every night at 5 PM. |
Brown Sugar Cafe |
In 1996, Suriyant “Toy” Jamdee and Suraphong “Tu” Pinyochon partnered to open Brown Sugar Café in the Fenway neighborhood where they lived with their families. Suriyant, Suraphong and their wives, Soontaree and Darny, have made a habit of getting to know their customers and feeding them well. Besides the personal attention that gives the restaurant its local feel, ‘they stress the importance of buying fresh kaffir lime leaves, galanga, and other ingredients, although they’re more expensive than the dried varieties.’ |
Village Restaurant |
Gourmet Magazine, Saveur, and the Boston Globe have all sung the praises of our food and hospitality, but it is Roadfood's assertion that our Village Restaurant is "truly where the locals eat" of which we are most proud. Whether you are an old salt, a new traditionalist, a vegetarian, or a carnivore, we invite you to join our family for what we believe to be the best the North Shore has to offer. |
Claremont Cafe |
Since 1993, the Claremont Cafe has enticed residents of the South End and beyond with a creative blend of Mediterranean-American cuisine. Seasonal menus and daily specials presented in a friendly bistro atmosphere is at the heart of the Claremont Cafe's success. The Claremont serves beer & wine and is well known for it's seasonal patio.
