Dining Guide

Breckenridge  Dillon  Frisco  Keystone  Silverthorne

Breckenridge

Main Street Bistro ($$)
Great made-from-scratch pasta and sauces. When you first sit down, you are presented with a plate containing sampels of the day's sauces. Choices, choices. Pasta is hand made in the restaurant too! It's a small restaurant, so reservations might be a good idea, particularly during ski season.
Downstairs at Erics ($$)
Small place...good ski bar. Good burgers and pizza. Kind of like a college bar. The place is usually packed!
Spencer's ($$)
Great salad bar buffet for lunch. Nice dinner menu. In the Beaver Run Resort Building. Chef Bob Burden was for years the head chef at Keystone. You can't go wrong when he's in charge.
Hearthstone ($$$)
Old Victorian house...good food, good service and pleasant atmosphere. One of the favorites of the SnowHome Team. They also have an active catering department - very good.
Briar Rose ($$$)
Good Prime Rib, also some exotics like elk and ostrich! Small, intimate atmosphere, good service.

Dillon Dam Brewery ($$)
One of the best Summit County Breweries. Great food with a large selection of appetizers, pub food and dinners - Large portions! The beers are some of the best. Ask to say hello to general manager and owner, George Blincoe, and tell him the SnowHome Team sent you.

Ristorante Al Lago ($$$)
Really good Northern Italian food. Nice atmosphere with romantic setting. Very reasonably priced wines.
Mexican Cantina ($$$)
It's the new Mexican restaurant in Dillon. It is worth the visit just to see the restaurant itself. True elegance of Guadalajara. The food is really delicious, and so are the Margaritas! You won't find tacos or burritos here. Salsa is made at your table. Dead on views of Buffalo and Red Mountains from the dining room. It is a total dining experience.
Masato's ($$$)
Good sushi and more! A bit pricey, but they know what they are serving. Great saki list, as well.

Frisco

Food Hedz World Cafe ($)
Breakfast and lunch only. But, if you want a true treat, you've got to try this cafe opened by two of the best chefs in the County, David Welch and Doug Schwartz. For the price of a hamburger, you can instead get such items as lamb curry stew, elk stroganoff, seafood pot pie. It's unlikely that you'd find a menu item that you did not absolutely enjoy. All food freshly prepared on premises, including the twice-raised bread. The only problem is that it's a small restaurant. Be prepared.
MiZuppa's ($)
Home made soups, salads and wraps! Great variety of soups, from hearty and spicy to light. For the price of a hamburger, well, is there really a choice?
Q-4-U ($$)
Good barbaque. Eat in or take out.
