pretty nice smart kind and lonely

I am a 17 yr old gal with no bf. It's not th't i do have any admirators; on the contrary, a lot of boys, even older men, have proposed 2 me since i was 11 yrs old. But now i feel that i lack in something. I know that a lot of ppl think that i'm beautiful, nice, kind and intelligent n that i'm very lucky but is that ENOUGH? I mean, i'm a really very shy girl n i don't thk that i ever had a real conversation with a boy, then how come boys proposed 2 me? they all know me only very superficially. If this has always been the case, does this mean that no one has ever truly appreciated me as a person? Does this mean tht all my life, ppl will come up 2 me 4 such baseless reasons n tell me tht they supposedly love me? n my other problem is tht i'm scared of commitment, u knw being in a relationship, having a bf.. i dn't knw y, mayb because of i knw tht no 1 truly cares or because i have a problem with letting go n just being myself. pls tell me wat 2 do 2 get rid of my shyness. maybe if i'm les shy then, boys will fall in love with me for the right reasons i.e 4 wat i am.

I dont understand why gals now a days run behind boys and think thats the eden of human civilization. Boys proposing u since u were 11yrs old?/ Oh!!! thats hard to belive that a child of that age understands what 'proposal' means. Being shy in my view is one of the attribute which attracts men/boys - but ofcourse within limits. Lead a happy live - but keep in mind - running around with men / flirting need not bring u satisfaction. Have a confident approach - it will do good in all channels of life - personal and professional. Bye take care -

Hi Simran, I suggest that you concentrate on getting over your shyness. You could join hobby club, participate in more activities and make more friends. This will help you find yourself and also be more extrovert while dealing with people. Once that happens people will actually get to know the real you, including the guys who like you. Secondly, take the initiative to talk more people. All will be well!

i dont know why r u shy frm boys. some boys r made girlfriends just 4 time pass. i agreed frm anamika dat at age of 11 yrs u know wat is the meaning of proposal. but i suggest u dont shy & spend some time with guys & u will find a guy which is made just 4 u. dont b in hurry. it may take time, may b 1 day or may b 3-4 yrs.
