2.75% AER/Gross Variable An interest rate of 2.75% AER/GROSS variable and the 24h convenience of online and phone banking are just some of the reasons to move your current account to Intelligent Finance. You can even use your current account balance to reduce the amount of interest you pay on your offset mortgage by offsetting.

There are three simple steps to moving your current account to IF. All we need are a few details from you, and we'll do the complicated stuff. You can just relax and wait for your money to start working harder.

What you need to do:

Step 1    Fill in the online application.

Step 2    Sign and date the agreement and pop it in the post

We'll send you an authorisation, which gives us the written permission we need to start moving your account. You just need to sign this, and send it back to us in the pre-paid envelope.

Step 2    Check that all the information we send you is correct, then tell us when you'd like the switch to take place. We'll give you a unique customer number to help you keep an eye on how things progress. Your authorisation allows us to get a list of standing orders and direct debits from your current bank.

We’ll then process your payments to go out of your new IF current account..

Open a Direct Access Savings Account with as little as £1 and you'll automatically earn the savings rate on your entire current account balance.

Because we calculate interest on the basis of daily balances, your money works harder.

What does it mean?
