Islamorada
Florida is a group of Islands in the Florida Keys about
and hour and a half south of Miami. Often referred to as the "Sport
fishing Capital of the World", Islamorada is without a
doubt, the finest saltwater fishing destination in the United States.
For over 30 years I have been an Islamorada fishing
guide specializing in light spin tackle
and fly fishing on the waters surrounding
Islamorada and it's neighboring islands in the beautiful Florida
Keys.
During that time, I have guided people to past world records
of Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, and many others.
For years this area has been the "go to" destination for the serious
saltwater angler. More world record saltwater fish have been caught
here than any other place in the world. New records are being set
by fly fishing anglers in the Islamorada area to this day.
Still, nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing new and upcoming
anglers test their saltwater fishing skills against our local saltwater
game
fish. All you need to bring is the desire to fish and something to
drink! Everything else is supplied.
