The perfect marriage of food, wine and ambience is often an elusive quest. But now, British Columbia's south Okanagan will no doubt witness a crusade of gourmands in search of the ultimate epicurean experience offered at The Sonora Room at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery. The art of Executive Chef Dominique Couton paired with the outstanding quality of Burrowing Owl's award-winning wines suggests a truly ecstatic gastronomic experience.

Chef Couton is delighted with the opportunity to showcase his considerable culinary talents in the splendid new grand hall, where dining will be a feast for all the senses. He particularly embraces the winery's current style of offering excellence in a relaxed setting of vast vineyards framed by desert flora, blue sky and black hills.

An exclusive wine list will be changed weekly to include a selection of library wines that are no longer available publicly for sale. Lunches are served daily throughout the season and evening dining is by reservation Thursday through Monday. Local, in-season produce will highlight the great agricultural diversity of the region, and offer Couton an ever-changing selection for his renowned creative cuisine.

Located in the William D. Kitchen home, a red brick Victorian Manor that has been meticulously restored in the past year. Built in 1885 in the Queen Anne style, the house was recently declared a historic building by the Town of Lincoln under the Ontario Heritage Act.

The cuisine at Peninsula Ridge is rooted in classical French techniques using the finest quality ingredients from neighbouring Niagara farms and orchards.
