COMOX VALLEY HARBOUR AUTHORITY |
SERVICES
|
Comox Valley Harbour has a long
history of being a vital harbour community and ever since the first dock was built in 1874 the
marine industry has been a major influence. Around the Comox Bay area there are 5 marinas, a
Department of
National Defense fuel wharf as well as a dock, a boat launching ramp, juvenile salmon
holding pens, and a sailing club which has year-round races on Sundays. The presence of the large
commercial fishing fleet ensures marine services are readily available. Comox Harbour Marina now has
even more service with a NEW pump out station. Downtown Comox is only a 2 minute walk from the Comox
Harbour marina. Our staff has been trained in Marine Oil Spill Recovery methods, and we have
emergency pumps and Spill Recovery materials on hand. Reserved berthage is available to commercial
fish boats. Regular security checks are conducted.
Visitors are welcome! Come to
the Comox Harbour Marina office and meet our happy crew for a FREE Area Map.
