A new version of Metastorage was released with a couple of important
bug fixes and new troubleshooting
guide document to help users fix common problems in their PHP setup
that may prevent Metastorage to run properly.
One of the fixed bugs prevented Metastorage to correctly locate its
installation directory in some conditions under Windows. The other bug was
preventing the use of non-text type arguments in object retrieval functions
that use Object Query Language filter expressions.
The new troubleshooting guide document includes the solutions for all the
problems that have been reported by the users as a result of situations
that prevented them to run Metastorage properly. Most of the documented
problems are related with PHP setup or invocation options that need to be
adjusted to avoid the problems.
This document will be updated over time to include solutions to other
problems that the users may report. All the users are encouraged to
continue any situations that they are not able to solve by themselves. The
troubleshooting document contains instructions on how to report a new
problem.
