Today I went through and got pet registrations caught up. So if you've been waiting on a pet registration, they've finally gone through.

I'll be working on getting things back together and closing up a few loose ends I've got over the next few weeks.

Sorry about all the delays plots involving me have been suffering.

It is my privelege to congratulate and welcome — on behalf of the rest of the Ramath-lehi staff — Fused Eidolon and Silith to the staff, as GM's of Janardan and Dhruv, respectively! Your applications were awesome, and you've earned it. Now give yourself a pat on the back. We know you'll do great. Your first perks as a staff member are forwarding e-mail addresses that follow the format of 'username@ramath-lehi.com,' and the ability to update your staff bios via your profile.

Any remaining staff applications are still being deliberated, and the GM positions for Ajita, Mansukh, Bhim, and Trilok are still open. We look forward to seeing some more applications, and encourage you to fill one out if you are interested in the position. Chances are, if you're an active, involved, and friendly member, you've got a really good chance.

Now I'd like to take a moment to say hello to my mother. Hi, mom! Okay, just kidding on that part.

After *much* delay, you can now edit and add your character's relations to your character profiles. Sorry about the long wait, but I'm not an expert coder yet and I ran into quite a few walls while I was working on this particular snippet.

Anywho, you can now edit your character's relations by going to your Manage character page, and clicking "Edit Profile" for the character whose relations you'd like to edit.

I may still be adding something so that your character's siblings and offspring can have links to their own profiles as well, but we'll see. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to share/ask them.

Well, we've completely re-vamped how the staff system works on Ramath-lehi. Hopefully it'll all work out better for everyone.

Now, for those individuals that are interested in applying for a staff position...

There is a new page, actually, there are several new pages that have been created. They're all listed on the Staff Headquarters page. On that page is a basic FAQ about the new staff system, a new sort of Staff Handbook that I'm still working on constructing, as well as a brand spanking new Staff Application page. So if you're interested, check out the pages.

There's eventually going to be some re-structuring of the forums and their locations, but as of this moment, we're looking for GMs for the following areas:

- Dhruv
- Ajita
- Mansukh
- Bhim
- Trilok

And quite possibly Janardan. I still need to work out some information for that particular place. So Staff Applications are currently open. If you have any questions that I haven't covered on any of those pages, please ask me. I know that it is a lot to take in.

Also, current staff members are reminded to update their staff bios.

Edit: The GM application has been fixed a little bit. So if you tried to submit an app' before, and it didn't submit, it should work fine for you now. :]

Well, here's a belated Happy New Year to all you folks. I'm in the middle of restructuring a lot of aspects of the site. Hopefully it'll all be for the better.

If you haven't had your say on the new layout yet, please go and do so. I'm going to start working on it soon. Also if you have any ideas for new features, let me know there as well.

There is also a REALLY IMPORTANT thread that all staff members should look at and reply to in the Attic.

Last, but not least, we're going to be looking for new staff applicants soon (within the next week or so). So if you're interested, pay attention to the news.

AJITA --- Early this morning stomach churning screams were heard from the Grader’s private chambers on Ajita. Council Security and the Grader’s own personal guards rushed upon the scene. Upon forced entry they found not the Arch Magos and Magosai pair, but the solo form of the Arch Magos, Zamfir Grader. His head was cradled in his hands, muscles tense, and was in obvious pain as his cries reverberated throughout the chamber.

His personal aide was immediately called to the scene but could not calm the Magos into a more rational mind-set. Koani Grader, the Magos and Magosai’s eldest daughter, arrived on the scene shortly after although no one had sent for her.

“I know what happened,” Koani replied curtly when she was questioned about her sudden appearance. Not bothering to answer the barrage of questions that flowed after that remark, she waded through the growing crowd and settled down by her father’s side, trying her best to console him.

After much coaxing, sedatives, and other medical measures, they were finally able to get Magos Zamfir to explain what had happened in his own words.

Apparently while Arch Magosai Karryasa Grader was on location (what location Magos Zamfir was negligent to say), she fell victim to a strange and violent breed of magika. Something within her, or something by her reacted violently to it. As a result, a dark portal to The Nothing was opened. Two clawed arms reached out of the portal and put a stranglehold on the Magosai.

At this point in time, the Magos had been alerted. His telepathic link with his life-mate having been so strong that he virtually was “there” when Karryasa was being hauled toward oblivion. Magos Zamfir tried to grab onto her mentally, but “It happened too quickly”. The end result was a “tearing”. Karryasa’s essence was torn in two and her physical self was devoured by The Nothing.

Unable to comment any further, the Magos Zamfir was removed from the scene. He was moved to a small, private care facility and is being treated for trauma and several self-inflicted wounds. Koani stayed behind to tie up loose ends with the press. An emergency Council meeting has been called…

Whee... I recently was looking through my e-mail archives and found the old RaL newsletter that people tried to start up. I liked the idea, and was sad to see it go comatose.

Anywho, I was thinking that IC, at Janardan, we could start a student Newspaper. A few characters could meet IC and put together stuff for the newspaper, and every so often we could produce a real thing and stick it up on the Janardi\an web site. OOC people could submit articles or whatever for the real thing. I was also thinking we could have little "anouncement" sections, maybe a comic strip, and personal ads. Jiss, I want the personal ads for my own amusement. ^^

If you read the rules at the Trisk Competition Rules, keep in mind that a few changes have been made to the requirments to register for diffrent levels. It is now: Junior Hunters have earned 0.50 Show Point; Senior Hunters have earned 2 Show Points; Certified Hunters have earned 4 Show Points; Finished Hunters have earned 10 Top Hunter Awards. Finished Hunters may no longer enter normal hunt trials.

The requirments were dropped from what is currently on the site because they were insane compared to what you can earn in a trial... I think they're more realistic now. They may be changed again later if it is needed.
