What is DSL?
DSL is a digital signaling technology that turns an existing phone line into a high-speed data delivery system. We use this technology to send high-speed Internet access to your business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What affects my connection speed?
When you connect to the Internet using DSL, the speed that you get will vary based on a variety of factors, such as:

• Length of the phone line
  
• Condition of phone wiring inside and outside your location
  
• Computer configuration
  
• Network or Internet congestion
  
• Server and router speeds of the web sites you access

Will I be assigned a new IP address each time I sign on?
No. IP addresses are statically assigned to Business DSL customers, giving you the ability to host servers and applications on the Internet.

What equipment do I need?
You will need a network card and a DSL router. The DSL router may be purchased or rented from us or you may provide your own.

Is DSL available everywhere?
Unfortunately, DSL is not available everywhere. Call us and we will tell you if DSL is available at your location. DSL availability is estimated based on the distance of your location from our DSL equipment - it is not guaranteed. In the event that DSL cannot be provided after you order, we will refund all monies paid.

Can I talk on the phone and use DSL for Internet at the same time?
Yes, you can use your phone line for voice and utilize the Internet simultaneously when you have DSL. There is no need to get a new phone line to use your DSL service.

Do you provide technical support for my DSL?
Yes. Technical Support is open 8:00 AM to Midnight ET Monday through Saturday, Noon to 8:00 PM Sunday and can be reached by calling, toll-free, 888-866-4638.
