Berent Associates Center for Social Therapy specializes in working with individuals who have problems with social anxiety, panic attack, social phobia, public speaking, social skills, learning disability, shyness, performance anxiety, selective mutism as well as other anxiety related disorders. While our program focuses on socialization, we are working with the whole person. This can include issues regarding work performance, public speaking, stress, shyness, learning, mood, family, attaining independence, etc. Therapy is provided for adults, teenagers, and children. The philosophy inherent in our social anxiety disorder treatment is that life is too precious to be handicapped by social anxiety disorders including phobias such as public speaking, social skills, learning disability, selective mutism as well as others. Therapeutic goals are attained through an eclectic approach, which is concrete, directive, and goal oriented.
