Joining Leah MacMillan, Entrust's Vice President of Desktop Solutions, will be guest speakers, Andy Welch, Senior Manager, Information Risk Management, of KPMG, who will address the compliance issues facing organizations today and Mark Hadley, Network Engineer, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from the U.S. Department of Energy, who will tell you how they have achieved compliance and enabled the sharing of sensitive information by implementing the Entrust Secure Messaging Solution.

PRESENTER BIOS

Andy Welch, Senior Manager, Information Risk Management, KPMG
Andy Welch is a senior manager in KPMG LLP's Risk and Advisory Services (RAS) practice, where he currently serves as one of KPMG's Northeast Information Security Services leaders. Prior to joining KPMG's RAS practice, he was responsible for various components of KPMG's internal network and operating system design and management. Mr. Welch has over 13 years of information technology and information security experience using a wide array of technologies and enterprise organization and process architecture to improve efficiency and solve business related problems. His technical security expertise includes a wide range of platforms and networks. He is skilled in analyzing existing networks for security weaknesses, evaluating emerging business requirements, and designing and implementing organizational structure and secure technology solutions to support those requirements.

Mark Hadley, Network Engineer, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNC)
Mark Hadley has been been managing the Entrust Infrastructure at PNNL for the past two years. He is a member of the Department of Energy PKI Technical Working Group and helped draft the new DOE CP and CPS documents in preparation for Federal Bridge CA cross-certification. His other work interests include single sign-on in a heterogeneous environment and intrusion prevention systems. Prior to Mr. Hadley's current position at DOE, he spent 11 years with the State of Washington as a network engineer and 2 years prior to that with a government contractor as an application developer. He has a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

Leah MacMillan, VP Security Desktop Applications, Entrust
As Vice President of Desktop Solutions at Entrust, Leah MacMillan is responsible for the strategic planning, product management, business development and marketing of Entrust's secure desktop applications and related solutions. Leah is focused on delivering solutions that meet the customer needs for secure communication, collaboration and network access.

Leah joined Entrust in 1997 and has over 13 years of diverse technology management and marketing expertise. During her 6 years at Entrust, she has occupied several key leadership positions in product management and product marketing, having most recently driven integrated programs for Secure Messaging and Secure Identity Management. She is an accomplished speaker and can present on a myriad of topics, from the technical to the corporate vision. Her combination of business, technical and leadership skills enables her to drive Entrust desktop solutions to key markets. Leah has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and International Business from McGill University.
