Weil Winery officially opened on July 25, 1998. The winery is owned and operated by Winston Jennings and Edward Weiterman of Moreton's Harbour, Newfoundland. We are located in the Islands Training Centre in the historic town of Twillingate, the birthplace of the 500,000th Newfoundlander, and the burial ground of the world renowned opera singer Georgina Sterling.
These superb wines are naturally produced from the finest quality fruits and berries, and with purified water. The various steps of the process begin with brew preparation for fermentation, and finish with the bottling and packaging. Complete on-site processing is with strict quality control, and under the direction of a fully qualified and experienced winemaster.
Great care is taken not to compromise at any step of the processing cycle to ensure that producing a top quality product will not be jeopardized. We take great pride in maintaining that strong discipline which is reflected in the quality achieved. Whether it's entertaining guests for a meal, a great come-as-you-are party or an intimate time with a close friend, one or more of our wines will surely add just a little something special to the occasion. We value our customers who deserve our best effort and we know they appreciate the resulting quality products. In respect to Notre Dame's wines, customers have made the point that the price of a product is relative to the quality, and that our wines surpass that standard.
