Sometimes kids and parents have different ideas about having fun. That's hardly a surprise is it? Vacations are for the whole family of course, and your child will take back marvelous memories if they get a chance to spend a day with Kids' Camp. With both day and evening sessions available, this safe and fun, and educational program will allow your child to enjoy the limitless opportunities that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Kids' Camp is open to children ages 6-13 years old.

Kids' Camp is in no way a baby sitting service, but rather a well-rounded program of exciting adventures and activities. This program continues to use every tool available to ensure that each day will leave your child with great adventure memories. We continually try to improve each child's adventure and your suggestions are always welcome.

Day & Evening Sessions Available

The day begins with an educational hike at one of the popular hiking trails located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. This is a great way for the children to get to know each other while learning about Lake Tahoe and the environment. Some of the other morning activities can also include basketball, soccer, volleyball, as well as other outdoor games. The kids then get lunch (usually McDonald's, pizza, etc.), then go to the movies or bowling. After this activity, we get a snack (ice cream, slurpee, etc.), and then go swimming at either Harveys or Harrah's pool. If time permits, we will finish Kids' Camp in one of the arcades playing video games (additional money required). Parents need to pick up their children between 3:45-4:00 PM.

This is a great option for the kids to have a night out and have some fun around Lake Tahoe. Kids get dinner (McDonald's, pizza, etc.), go to the movies or bowling, then have some ice cream. If time permits, we will finish Kids' Camp in one of the arcades playing video games (additional money required). Kids Camp runs every night from 6-10PM. Parents need to pick up their children between 9:45-10:00PM.

Kids Camp Fees

Fees include meal, activity (movie or bowling), and snack. Fees do not include arcade money.

Reservations

Reservations are required! Kids' Camp is open to children ages 6-13 years old. Kids' Camp has room for only 15 children in each session. Kids' Camp sells out frequently, so reservations should be made as soon as possible. Reservations can be made on-line or by calling the Kids Camp office at 775-267-6399 or Toll Free at 866-454-3386. You also can make a reservation at the Family Fun Center inside of Harrah's Lake Tahoe Casino (775-588-6611 ext. 2999), or at the Concierge Desk inside of Harveys Resort Hotel/Casino (775-588-2411). There is a 1-hour cancellation policy. Make a reservation on line now.

Meet at Harrah's & Harveys Resorts

Kids' Camp uses the Family Fun Center inside of Harrah's and the Concierge Desk inside of Harveys to pick-up and return Kids' Camp participants. Daytime Session meets at 8:30 AM at Harrah's and 9 AM at Harveys. Evening Session meets at 5:30 PM at Harrah's and 6 PM at Harveys.

Additional Information

Kids' Camp has room for 15 children in each session. There are always 2 adults for sessions with 7 or more children. A cellular phone is with the staff at all times and parents may call as often as they wish. Children are transported to different activities in the Kids' Camp Van.
