Visitor Etiquette

• Help preserve the Garden’s serene atmosphere and maintain its unique and beautiful collections. Please refrain from climbing on trees and shrubs, picking fruits and vegetables, walking in garden beds and collecting plants, flowers or labels.

No pets are permitted on Garden grounds, except support animals.

Bicycle riding is allowed on the east bike path only. The Forest Preserve speed limit is 8 mph.

• No active sports or games (inline skating, Frisbee, skiing, swimming, fishing, skating) are permitted.

• Picnicking is allowed in designated areas only. Campfires and outdoor cooking are prohibited. Laying blankets on the grass is permitted for Garden performances only.

• No alcohol is permitted on the grounds.
