ETSU Graduate Studies - Important Dates

The following are important dates for graduate students; however these dates are not all-inclusive. For further information on East Tennessee State University deadlines, students may want to obtain the Schedule of Classes Bulletin provided each semester.

June 5	Last day for graduate students to file intents to graduate, committee forms, candidacy forms, and programs of study for August 2004 graduation

May 12	Classes Begin
May 13	Last day to register or late add a Pre-Summer course
May 15	Last day to drop a course without a grade of "W"
May 22	Last day to drop a course
May 26	Memorial Day Holiday
May 28	Last day to withdraw

There is no formal final exam schedule for the Summer Term
There is no Commencement ceremony for the Summer Term

Submission must include approved Manuscript Review Form, ETSU ETD Release Form, IRB Compliance Letter and Survey of Earned Doctorates if applicable.
July 1	Last day to withdraw from Session 1
July 4	Independence Day Holiday
