Journey to some of the finest garden spots in the world
The Chicago Botanic Gardens travel programs are offered as a benefit of membership. Each tour provides educationally unique travel opportunities fostering a greater appreciation and understanding of horticulture, gardening, conservation and culture. All trips are custom-designed, limited to 25 participants, and include visits to acclaimed public sites as well as private venues not available to most travelers. Programs are led by engaging study leaders selected for their knowledge of horticulture and the geographic region visited.
Most tours involve a considerable amount of walking and a moderate level of exertion. Participants should be in good physical health to enjoy these experiences to their fullest.
The following itineraries contain complete trip details. If you have any questions or would like to receive a brochure and reservation request form to sign up for one of these travel programs, please call Diane Durkin, Chicago Botanic Garden manager of travel and special programs, at (847) 835-6834 or e-mail your request to travel@chicagobotanic.org.
