Venetian Chef Wins Gold

The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino’s Chef Garde Manager, Modesto Dacsil was awarded first place in the American Culinary Association’s Ice Carving Competition. Chefs throughout the Las Vegas Valley were judged for their skill in carving an angel playing the violin from a single block of ice. Judges considered detail and beauty of the carving for the award.
