Timeshare Advertisements Fees
Timeshare resale advertising fees can range in price drastically.
The reason for this has to do with the services
that a company actually offers. Some companies in th resale
industry try very hard to sell your timeshare, while others are
happy to take your money and stick your ad on a web page. There
is only one way to be certain what you actually get for your advertising
fees.
Advertising Price Ranges
The following information is based on phone surveys throughout
the timeshare resale industry. We have assembled this information
to be used as a guide only. Actual prices may and will vary depending
on the company researched.
- Basic Internet Advertising - Your advertisement is placed
on a website with little or no promotion. Basically you and the
company are the only ones who know it's there. This service can
range from $20 to $50 US.
- High Level Internet Advertising - Your advertisement
is placed on a well promoted website using search engines and
keyword marketing. This
service is typically priced between $150 and $200 US.
- High Level Internet Marketing with Promotions and Incentives
- This type of package utilizes incentives to entice buyers and
renters. This type of promotion works well with buyers looking
to get a deal. Your advertising fee could now be between $200
and $250 US.
- High Level Internet / Promotions / Full Customer Service
- This type of service is nice especially during the sale or rental
process. Advertisements are modified, prices changed, all by a
company representative. Expect to pay $300 to $400 dollars for
this type of top quality company.
- High Level Internet / Promotions / Full Customer Service
/ Additional Advertising Media - Some companies also utilize
additional forms of media to advertise your timeshare. These typically
include radio, newspaper, and television advertising. This type
of aggressive stratedgy usually runs between $400 and $500 US.
- Outbound Marketing Campaigns - In addition to all the
other techniques mentioned above the most aggressive timeshare
resale companies employ an outbound call center designed to ask
current owners to purchase additional weeks of timeshare. This
feature adds on a few dollars bringing the price range for for
a full service advertisement to $600 - $750 US.
Timeshare resale advertising can get expensive. It all depends
on how fast you want to get your timeshare sold or rented. The more
aggressive the advertising the better the chances are of selling
or renting. It's all about exposure. The more people who see you
advertisement, the better your chances. In the end, the old rule
still applies, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
