To keep things nice and simple we have chosen to use our point
five (chunky wool) to show off our vibrant hues.Specializing in
extremely soft wools, washable, hand dyed in one of the world's
largest selection of hand dyed yarn colors.A soft cotton blend,
with an elegant viscose (rayon) wrap. Knits easily and brings
soothing pleasure! A very elegant, yet casual look.
Another flashy yarn! Thick,
thick eyelash. You don't need to add any other yarn! Comes in
deeply saturated PURE colors, and also some pastel
multicolors.
We carry some really super yarns. We know
that you will enjoy our incredible yarn selection.We will hand,
machine and crochet our yarns all in the same garment. It is fun
to use all our knitting and crocheting skills in one garment. Twice
a year these yarn companies announce new yarn lines and new colors
to existing yarn lines. This is an exciting time to be involved
with yarns. The inspiration knows no bounds! And the resulting garments
are of exquisite quality and style.
It is hard to put in black and white what makes a good or bad yarn.
Cheaply made yarns can peel sooner, but I've also
seen designer naturals do that too. I think most cheap yarns will
sag or bag, but not all. At times, cheap yarns are perfect for smaller
items, placemats or knitting dish clothes. This decision is a personal
preference decision, so check around and please experiment. You
won't regret it!
We have enjoyed double stranding yarns for the mid-gauge, and triple
stranding yarns for the bulky knitting machine. The yarn we most
often use for multiple stranding are yarns that are normally a standard
bed tension type of 6-7.
