What is the shipping cost?
We take the guess work out of calculating the actual shipping cost. You pay a flat fee according to your total purchase amount, and the rest of the actual shipping cost is on us. There are no surprise costs!
If you order light-weight items only (i.e. cables ), we will charge you the actual shipping cost if it costs less than our flat fee.

When can I receive my order?
We ship most of our products directly from Tempe, AZ 85284, and occassionally from overseas.
Orders received usually ship the next business day. UPS does not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays observed by UPS. Ground shipments usually take 2-5 business days depending on your location. Please also note that orders not paid by credit card do not ship until the actual payment has been received and cleared.

We use only the most reputable shipping services ( Mainly UPS ), and partner with Freight Delivery companies for oversized orders. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. Can you ship to APO/FPO, P.O. boxes or international addresses?
Sorry, we currently do not ship to APO/FPO addresses, P.O. boxes or international addresses.
Will you charge sales tax and other related costs?
Sales tax is added only to orders shipping to Arizona addresses.

Shipments to Canada incur a 7% tax charge to help cover the GST paid by HomeTheater 2U.
Orders shipping to Canada will incur an additional $35 surcharge to cover extra freight and customs clearing charges. This surcharge is not refundable as part of our 30-day guarantee. Duty into Canada is paid by HomeTheater 2U. Air shipments into Canada may take longer than two days and ground shipments can take up to 14 days depending on customs.

Upon completion of your order, you will receive an email confirmation from us with the details of your order. As soon as tracking information becomes available, you will receive a second email with a tracking number and a link to the shipping service where you can track your package.

How does Freight Delivery work?
If your purchase is being delivered via a freight service, you will be contacted by the freight company via telephone 1-2 days prior to delivery to schedule a delivery appointment. You will need to be present to sign for the item. All shipments coming via freight are brought to the curb side only. Please note the following important details about freight delivery:
1) You will be responsible for moving the item into your home once it has been removed from the truck at curb side. Freight delivery personnel are not required to move the item beyond curb side (some will do so if you ask politely and offer a nice tip).
2) Additional costs may be incurred if you live on a small street that is not accessible via a freight truck. In such cases, the freight company will need to transfer your purchase onto a smaller truck for delivery. If you know that large moving trucks cannot access your street (a problem in some cities and rural areas), you must contact us in advance of placing your order so that we can notify the freight service and obtain a cost estimate for you before you place your order. How do I return my order?

Due to the high cost & low profit margin of the Marantz VP-1252 DLP projector, we will charge a 5% restocking fee for returns not caused by defects, and the shipping cost is not refundable in any case.
HomeTheater 2U reserves the right to cancel any order it considers a high risk of fraud or a act from a "sour competitor" ( believe us, it has happened! ). Orders shipping to an address other than the billing address may be delayed for verification.
