Members of the Alaska Travel Industry Association demonstrate their commitment to cooperatively advancing the tourism industry in Alaska. With the new millennium came a necessary private-public partnership in the form of AlaskaTIA to market the great destination of Alaska to the world.
Along with the marketing, AlaskaTIA collectively advocates various issues on behalf of its members. Businesses of all sizes and from all parts of the industry form the 1000-strong membership. Examples include hotels, lodges, B&Bs, tour operators, fishing charters, reservation services, cruise companies, ski areas, and more. Benefits vary by the type of membership, ranging from marketing and public relations to communications, government relations, annual functions, and member-to-member promotions.
