IceTrek: Whats your adventure?

South Pole Last Degree Ski Expedition
Trek to the Heart of Antarctica

Dates: Jan 2 - Jan 14

Distance: 110km

Duration: 13 days

Minimum group: 4

Price: USD$38,900 ex-Punta Arenas            currency converter

After flying on a specially-equipped aircraft from Punta Arenas, Chile, to the blue ice runway at Patriot Hills base in Antarctica, we fly to 89 degrees south and ski the last degree (110km) to the South Pole.

A unique wilderness experience, the Antarctic plateau is like no other place on earth. With temperatures between -20 and -30C the cold is ever-present but comfortably so in state-of-the art cold weather clothing and equipment. In true polar fashion, you tow manageable sleds containing all your food and equipment (approximately 40-50kg).

You will experience twenty-four hour daylight so there's no shortage of time to really see and feel the true Antarctica. Average 12 kilometers per day to the South Pole where you are collected by aircraft and flown back to Patriot Hills and Punta Arenas.
