Beijing Guide
One of the most popular sights in and around Beijing is the miraculous Great Wall of China. This wall was built well over 2000 years ago, and stretches for over 4500 miles. The wall can be walked along, although the areas right around Beijing tend to be packed with tourists and vendors. Move a bit out of the city to the Yellow Flower Fortress section, to be rid of the crowds.
A trip to Beijing wouldn't be complete without reveling in the youth culture of the city. Be sure to head into the center of town to do some shopping in the stores, many of which cater to the city's club kids. The clothes here can range from the sleek and designer, to crazily trendy to downright kitschy, but are sure to please nevertheless. Also take the chance at night to visit some of the many nightclubs in the city, or to eat an extended meal at one of the restaurants before heading back to your Beijing hotel.
