Most people need a licence to fish in Ontario. You can purchase a licence at many tourist outfitters'
camps and lodges, summer camps hotels and sporting goods dealers.
Some local MNR offices also issue licences.
Licences for Ontario and Canadian Residents
Ontario and Canadian residents need a Resident Fishing Licence or a Resident Conservation Fishing Licence;
a Conservation Licence has reduced catch and possession limits.

Outdoor Card (valid for three years) $6.00
Resident Seasonal Fishing Licence $15.00
Resident Conservation Fishing Licence $7.50
Resident 1 Day Fishing Licence $10.00
Resident  One-Day Licences are available onboard our Charter Boats
You do not need a Resident Fishing Licence if you are;
a resident under 18 years old; or a resident 65 years old or older.
Licences for Non-Residents (living outside Canada)
Non-Residents under 18 may fish without a licence if accompanied by a licenced adult.

Non-Resident Seasonal Licence $45.00
Non-Resident Conservation Licence $22.50
Non-Resident  7 Day Licence $30.00
Non-Resident  7 Day Conservation Licence $15.00
Non-Resident  Spousal Licence (two tags) $60.00
Non-Resident  One-Day Licence $10.00
