Loved It! I have made three batches of waffles since I purchased this item. All turned out very well. All of the features worked beautifully. The iron did not become too hot or in any way endanger me. Most important, the waffles turned out well. Light, fluffy, easy to turn into "stix,"...I would recommend this item to those individuals looking for a quality, lower cost waffle maker. You do not get the features of higher end models but you do get the most important thing: tasty waffles.
Do Not Waste Your Money!! I thought this would be great. I was wrong. The waffles stick to the plates like crazy no matter how much I season the plates. The batter does not cook evenly, it's half done or half over done. The stickes do not break apart. Also it is not easy to clean when the batter overflows.
Don't listen to other reviewers! I received this item from my registry and I love it! I just sprayed some nonstick spray on it the first time I used it and ever since I have had no problems with sticking. The recipes included are very tasty and my waffles have turned out perfect, fluffy, and golden brown every time. My husband often asks me to make waffles since we got this. I like to make more than enough and freeze leftovers. On mornings when we want a quick hot breakfast we just pop them in the toaster and we're set!
