Las Vegas Real Estate Market - Monday February 14, 2005
Today, the Las Vegas Real Estate market is a Buyer's Market.
Just six months ago, Las Vegas was in the grip of a runaway train home "Buying Frenzy"…Resale and new home inventory levels were so low (only about 1,500 homes on the MLS last January) that prices skyrocketed. Buyers had few choices and had to settle.
Today,
Homes that were non-existent six months ago, are now available…almost 11,000 single family homes, and about 1,700 condos are currently listed on the Las Vegas MLS.
And,
Prices of new and resale homes have dropped, due to higher inventory levels. Many of the shrewdest buyers, who were on the sidelines during the "Buying Frenzy", are now actively seeking properties.
Today, the market fundamentals are rock solid…buildable land is scarce, there's an insatiable demand for second homes, and the Las Vegas economy is roaring…Lots of high wage jobs and billions of dollars are pouring into new hotels & infrastructure.
Could be the best home buying opportunity of a lifetime…
