Booked this trip Jan. 1st.5 couples Omaha to vegas $424.00 round trip for each couple,called the Fitz,got 3 of the 5 couples rooms comped.Check in luggage,got through security,and to our gate,no problems.Had a smooth 2 hours and 25 minute flight on southwest airlines.The rockies were beautiful as usual.Got our bags,grabbed a greyline off we go. Party time at the Fitz. I know ,I know its not exactly Ceasers Palace.But it works for us. Been there three straight years and get treated pretty darn good. I don’t care for the huge hotels, but thats just me. We all had a blast, won some, lost some.Played slots, keno, three card poker, black jack, roulette, craps, V P just about everthing.(my wife is so lucky at three card poker, straight flush several times) she also hit $700.00 on a 5o cent slot.
I Played craps for the first time ever, it is loads of fun.Played one and a half hours the first time and ended up losing $14.00. Second time for an hour and won $84.00. the five guys had a $100.00 left from our football pool.we each picked a # for a 5 spot 100 game keno ticket, BAM, hit for $1000.00 COOL!!!! Liked the breakfast buffett at the Fitz for 6or 7 dollars could’nt beat it. Had orange ruffy at Tony Romas great for $12.99. Like the sea food buffett at the Fremont $16.00 a piece.Before you know it time to go back to the snow in Nebraska! One of our lady friends put a $100.00 in a five dollar slot. Hit $300.00 on the way out. Good way to leave the building. All in all we had a wonderful time!!!! Planning our trip next winter, every friday night we give our treasurer ten dollars that will pay for our air next winter. I almost forgot, Saturday was Valetines Day ,we saw a few new brides, saw one that was madder then hell (guess HE did’nt show, Oh well) long line at security but goes pretty fast. Smooth flight back to Omaha.2 hours and 13 minutes. A couple of things in summary, if you play Keno at the Fitz be sure and ask for free drink tickets. they gave our group a bunch of them.Also take a minute out of your day and say a prayer for our troops everywhere around the world.
