Toys contribute to an essential part of childrens play time, not only keep their mind occupied, but also help their brain think in a variety of ways. Similarly Dog Toys and Cat Toys contribute a lot to pet cats and pet dogs. Toys as gifts, as training means are a very affectionate way to show love to your pet. One of the may uses of Pet Toys are to serve & curb any behavioral problems. There are many factors, which contribute to how effective a particular dog toy or a cat toy is in regards to safety & purpose. There are some guidelines listed for a selection of toy.



Most pet toys should be interactive & not make your feel lonely when left alone. By focusing on a specific task, like repeatedly returning a ball, Kong , Frisbee or playing "hide-and-seek" with treats or toys, your pet can expel pent-up mental and physical energy in a limited amount of time and space. Interactive dog toys and cat toys greatly help reduce stress due to confinement, isolation or boredom.

Pet Owners should purchase toys which offer a variety of uses like - buy at least one toy to carry, to "kill", to roll and to "baby." Listed below are some guidelines in selection toys for dogs & cats.

1. These should be appropriate to pet dogs size, they should not be too big & not too small, if a Toy is too big this will not motivate your pet dog to play & if its too small, it might be unsafe for your pet dog.

2. Dog Toys which could be broken or chewed up by your pet dogs, should be avoided.

3. Pet owners need to consult a veterinarian before considering purchasing toys, which contain rawhide & toys like chewies & pig ears should only be given under supervision.

4. Toys, with a squeaker, might lead your dog to tear it apart or chew it to stop the squeaking.

5. Pet dogs have strong teeth & soft dog toys if they are not robust they can easily be torn apart.

•  Bone Shaped Toys are usually attractive to pet dogs.

•  Tennis balls make great Dog Toys, but these types of Toys can be easily chewable.

 

1. These should not have any small hangings or parts, which can be easily chewed or swallowed by pet cats.



2. Soft Cat Toys should be washable, pet owners should check the contents of the cat toys' s stuffing to ensure that they are safe material.

3. Pet cats should be given only some cat toys at one time such that is a certain newness to your pet.

4. Cat Toys should not be given directly to your pet, they should be made to find them, which creates some creativity to your pet cat.
