Over 1800 students are enrolled in the ETSU School of Graduate Studies. Certificates and degrees are offered in 46 areas, including 14 different master's degrees (MAcc, MA, MFA, MBA, MCM, MEd, MAT, MSEH, MALS, MS, MSN, MPA, MPH, MSW), the specialist degree (EdS), and five doctoral degrees in educational leadership (EdD), biomedical sciences (PhD), nursing, (DSN), audiology (AuD) and physical therapy (DPT). Additionally, students are pursuing the M D degree and residency programs at ETSU's James H. Quillen College of Medicine. Mission Statement: The mission of the School of Graduate Studies is to foster post-baccalaureate programs of scholarship that are recognized for their excellence and contributions to society. The School of Graduate Studies will provide an environment that stimulates:
- Advanced understanding of the concepts, issues and practices of a discipline;
- Independent thought and the ability to generate new knowledge;
- The ability to contribute significantly to the academic community, professions, and society;
- Diversity among ideas, programs, and people.
