A new driver, a new paint scheme and a new sponsor. That's what ML Motorsports will bring to the table at Daytona Int'l Speedway for the Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 on February 12. Foretravel Motorhomes has signed on as an associate sponsor for the entire 2005 season with visions of a long term partnership in the future. Walkerton, Indiana driver and 2002 ARCA RE/MAX Series Rookie of the Year Chad Blount has already been assigned the driving duties. Foretravel Motorhomes was founded in 1967 by the Fore family and is based out of Nacogdoches, Texas. Under new ownership, the 37 year old company is being revived as it moves forward with its eye on a positive future. Foretravel Motorhomes is known for their first class custom built motorhomes and the Foretravel Motorcade Club that Foretravel owners can enjoy.

Toledo, Oh. - Michigan veteran Butch Miller used a fourth pit stop to change right side tires and then powered underneath rookie Travis Kittleson with 16 laps remaining to win Sunday’s American Speed Association’s Glass City 300 at Toledo Speedway.
Miller in the Timber Wolf Chevrolet elected to stop for right side tires on lap 203 and then worked his way back to the front. Kittleson in the Bob Steele Chevrolet took the lead on lap 261 when leader Mike Garvey cut down a right front tire and hit the back straight wall.
Miller had worked himself up to third at the time and moved inside of Kittleson on lap 284 going into Turn 2. Kevin Cywinski in the SK Hand Tool Chevrolet, who also stopped with Miller for tires, slipped inside of Kittleson on lap 298.
At the checkers it was Miller winning by 0.585 seconds over Cywinski, with Kittleson, Brett Sontag and Robbie Pyle rounding out the top five.
As a result of winning for the 48th time in his ASA career, Miller collected the $6,250 VP Fuels Front Runner Award for winning from the pole. Miller won a total of $21.355 from the posted awards of $19,944.
“This is awesome,” said Miller. “The crew made the right call by stopping for tires. I was worried about catching Mike (Garvey) and I’m not sure what happened to him. We had a good car today and the fresher tires made the difference.”
Miller now leads Cywinski by 23 points after five of 17 events for the ASA championship. Cywinski also credited his crew with making the right call and a quick pit stop with less than 100 laps remaining.
“We were off a little bit today,” said Cywinski. “On the last stop we changed tires
and loosened the car up. We were still loose going into the corner, but we were hooked up in the center.”
Kittleson said they used pit strategy to get to the front of the pack and didn’t have the tires to hold off Miller and Cywinski at the finish.
“I wasted my tires trying to get around Garvey and then realized that he was driving riding and would pick up the pace when I closed in,” said Kittleson. “I thought we could hold them off at the end, but the tires were worn out. The strategy worked out with a podium finish.”
Kittleson now leads the $50,000 Rookie of the Year chase by 19 points over Reed Sorenson in the ACDelco Chevrolet. Sorenson drove to a sixth-place finish.
Garvey in the WJ Plemons Investments Chevrolet had the dominant car entering the final third of the race after taking the lead on lap 204 when leader Pyle elected to stop for a fourth time.
The Michigan veteran opened up a half a straight away lead on Kittleson when his day ended when the right front tire went down on lap 261.
Miller first took the lead on lap 38 by passing Sorenson and remained out front until making his first pit stop. He then climbed back to the front on lap 122 by passing Greg Stewart and remained on the point until stopping for a second time on lap 136. Miller made his third stop on lap 153 after assuming the lead on lap 139 when Brett Rowe pitted.
There were 11 lead changes among nine different drivers with Miller leading 96 of the 300 laps. The race was slowed 10 times for 85 laps run under caution.
The ASA Racing Series travels next Saturday to Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the Iowa 300. The Iowa 300 will be broadcast live starting at 9 p.m. (EDT) on the SPEED Channel.
