Renowned Bald Head Island interior designer, Jackie Scism, has been commissioned to create four unique interior design packages for The Preserve. During the pre-construction phase you may choose your design package according to your unique lifestyle and preferences.

The Traditional

Created to coordinate with a multiple color pallet in fabrics and furnishings, this beautiful design package is perfect for the most discriminating of tastes. Hardwood floors of medium light oak in the living areas are complemented by Sand Dune Berber carpet in the bedrooms. Garden Gate Beige walls are highlighted with gloss white molding, for a most upscale effect. Fixtures include a traditional chandelier in the dining area and recessed fan in the living area.

The kitchen features light medium oak stained cabinetry with molding, coordinated with stately multi-beige Granite countertops, designed to create interest without overpowering. Under cabinet lighting adds a comfortable ambiance to the room. Appliances and double sink are all stainless steel with chrome faucets.

Additional details include white marble bath counters, 12-inch creamy beige ceramic tile floors, and white wood frame mirrors.

The Coastal Carolina

A soft Mosaic Green brings coastal marshland ambiance indoors for a most calming effect, in this special design package. White bead board, authentic to coastal Carolina interiors dating back more than a century, is carried through the dining and living areas. Created to coordinate with a pallet of greens, yellows and reds, The Coastal Carolina still allows flexibility for many decorating options. Medium light oak floors in the living areas are complemented by Sand Dune Berber carpet in the bedrooms.

Enjoy the casual ambiance of a kitchen featuring white bead board cabinetry, 12-inch Green and Beige Sandstone tile and multi-green granite countertops. White appliances and smooth white porcelain sinks finish the effect perfectly.

Bathrooms include the 12-inch Green and beige Sandstone tile, chrome with White Milk fixtures and white wood framed mirrors.

The Charleston Battery

Sophisticated elegance describes this Low Country interior created as the perfect backdrop for a pallet of white, crème, black, coffee and red. Raised lattice panels provide interesting visual dimension to the natural muted hues in the living and dining areas. Beautiful oak flooring stained in a dark finish offset the soft color scheme.

The kitchen features off-white crème cabinetry with French-cut raised panels and glass door accents. Multi-beige granite countertops and brown and beige terra cotta tile in a random pattern makes a strong statement of Old World charm. Gleaming black appliances and brushed chrome finish the effect.

Additional details include beautiful fixtures like the wrought iron rust chandelier complimenting the dining area and brushed chrome drop pendant lighting in the kitchen.

The French Quarter

Drama and sophistication characterize this uniquely European design package, perfect for jewel-toned or neutral fabrics and dark or light furnishings. Dark stained oak flooring throughout the living areas coordinate with the soft pallet of paint colors. Latticework accents the dining and living areas.

The kitchen features 12-inch brown and charcoal sandstone tile and off-white crème cabinetry with French-cut raised panels and glass accent doors. Striking black granite countertops add a dramatic effect, paired with black appliances and brushed chrome faucets. Brushed chrome drop pendant lighting is the perfect finishing touch.

Additional features include a French-cut crystal chandelier in the dining area and white and gray patterned marble in the baths.
