Online Sales and Operations Management Summer Internship Positions

We're looking for flexible leaders with outstanding decision-making skills. Online Sales and Operation Team members drive key components of Google's revenue-generating businesses; you'll need to use quantitative skills to make strategic decisions and communication skills to push these decisions through to execution.

Strong candidates will be extremely proactive, motivated, organized, responsible and able to work well within fast-paced groups, including AdWords, AdSense, Google Print, Froogle and Gmail. Some of these opportunities even have international potential.

Responsibilities include:

• Take a lead role in developing and implementing best practices for client interaction, sales and services for the AdWords and other revenue-generating Google products.
• Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for development and proactively creating new systems and structures.
• Develop metrics to measure the department's growth and performance, and provide reports as needed.
• Execute special projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development.

• BA/BS or equivalent experience required; MBA in progress.
• Proven track record of success in previous work experiences.
• Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
• Ability to effectively influence and communicate with all levels of Google management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Passion for learning and creative problem-solving.
• Strong computer applications skills.
• Related experience in sales, operations, or client service preferred.

Corporate Development Summer Internship Positions

We're looking for experienced business professionals to join our corporate development team. In this role, you'll identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities, present recommendations to Google's management team, negotiate and close deals, and assist with post-acquisition integration and performance management. Our ideal candidate is a top performer who possesses high levels of energy and enthusiasm, experience working well with large, diverse teams and a demonstrated ability to think creatively.

Requirements:

• 2+ years corporate development, venture capital or private equity experience in the technology industry (Internet, communications or e-commerce experience is a plus).
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
