MARKETING PARTNER
Description
Any business, organization or government agency interested in improving Alaska as a travel destination and benefiting from the strength of a cooperative marketing effort. One requirement is that eligible advertisers must promote an Alaska visitor product or service. Gateway cities may advertise if the community is represented as a gateway to Alaska or as an addition to an Alaska tourism product, but not as an alternative.

AFFILIATE MEMBER
Many non-industry businesses receive significant revenue from the tourism industry, but are not able to directly participate in the marketing programs. An affiliate membership offers these businesses an opportunity to support and network with the industry. To qualify, businesses and organization would derive less than 10 percent of revenues from goods and/or services sold directly to visitors.
Examples of affiliate members include suppliers, advertising and PR firms, printers, insurance companies, phone companies, charities, some government agencies, media , financial services and other vendors of goods and services.

Description
This is an alternative to the marketing partner level for small businesses employing one to three people (including owner/operator). There are no advertising benefits available at this level.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Description
Local Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) and communities have an opportunity as a community partner to leverage their marketing dollars.

- Location and identification on the two-page Community Information and Map section in the Vacation Planner along with a position on the lead-producing BRC card.
- Participation in press trips coming to Alaska
- Editorial coverage in marketing materials
- Trade leads from national and international shows

Investment Level
Community partners pay a percentage of their gross budget or a minimum of $500 (whichever is higher).
CRUISE LINES PARTNERS
In addition to the marketing partner membership investment, cruise lines pay a voluntary assessment based on their percentage of the total Alaska cruise market.
Please note that participation in some programs may carry a separate fee in addition to regular membership dues.
